Matto Terminal Hotel

The room was much cleaner than I expected, and the stay was very comfortable. I was here the night before climbing Mt. Hakusan, and the price was reasonable with the station close by. After checking in at the front desk, you complete the process at a machine. It also exchanges currency, which was very handy for getting ready for the climb.

The parking area feels too exposed, which worried me, and there's no WiFi information in the room, so I had to photograph the details posted by the elevator. Also, the elderly woman at the front desk, who appears to be a foreigner, was unfriendly. On the plus side, the renovated rooms are clean, the surroundings are quiet, and the accommodation is inexpensive.

It's convenient and easy to use, with the station close by. If the parking lot is full, you can leave your car in the supermarket lot directly across from the hotel.

I had business in Kanazawa, so I came by myself and stayed here the night before. With inbound tourism so popular lately, hotels in Kanazawa can get very expensive. I found a cheap Saturday booking here, and free parking made it a great deal. Matto Station is only a few minutes away on foot, so staying here and taking the train into Kanazawa seems perfectly reasonable. The facilities are adequate and, above all, it's clean, so I have no complaints.
