The host was very accommodating, and the cabin was nice. We camped up in the mountains and woke to a great view. Just know there's no public transport, nor a convenience store or supermarket nearby, so bring your food and everything else you'll need.

The night view is incredible, and the fresh air blowing across your face can make you forget your stress. The room was clean and suited a couple or family. Barbecue gear is available to rent, and the owner is super friendly and helpful. If you aren't driving, be sure to reserve a taxi three days ahead, since most drivers only volunteer in their free time. Really one of the best places to visit in Japan. We'll come again!

The natural setting is magnificent, and the view of night Tokyo and Yokohama is beautiful. The lodging is fresh, and if you're lucky you can look at a few options before choosing where to stay. There's almost no connection from the big 3, but free Wi-Fi is available. Bring your own bath towel, for some reason they only provided face towels. Hiking is possible, though there isn't direct access. It's a 20-30 minute walk along the road, which seems to be used for racing, so be careful.

I came for Chichibu Yomatsuri and was blown away by the cabin and its view. The man running the accommodation was so laid back and awesome. Thanks for everything, it was wonderful ❤️❤️❤️

A fantastic spot in nature for hiking and cooking your own food, with a surprisingly well-organized cabin in such a remote location. Just be prepared for insects in summer.
