Omotenashi Hostel Miyajima - Vacation STAY 26314v

The kitchen and lounge were good, and there was entertainment too. I used the big TV to watch Netflix. Breakfast was tasty and good value. The rooms and shared area were really clean and spacious. It was very quiet while I was there, and I felt like I had the place to myself. It would work well for a group.

I really liked staying here. It was easy to meet people in the lively common area, with karaoke, old video game consoles, manga in Japanese and English, and even a small convenience store. The staff were lovely, the bunk was comfortable (I had the top one), and the showers felt like something from a hotel. The nearest streetcar stop is a three-minute walk away. From there, it takes about ten minutes to reach the port for the island or 30 minutes to get to the palace. One of the best places we stayed.

The facilities were extremely clean, and the shower was fantastic. Our room was a really good standard, and the staff were very nice and spoke English. The games area and kitchen were handy, and the laundry was useful too. This was the best hostel I've stayed in, way beyond what I expected. I'd come back and recommend it to friends.

This was my first hostel stay, and it turned out great. The lounge and lobby were a highlight, with comfy sofas, a ping pong table, comic books, and a TV. The kitchen was well set up too, with a kettle and microwave. Everything was neat and super clean. The staff spoke English very well and helped with directions and travel information. They even offered to help book tickets.
