Cozy place, friendly welcome, and a nice price!

I found it just right for a room-only stay while sightseeing, though there’s some wear around the property. They seem to maintain it well, but as other reviews say, people who are sensitive to wear may not like it. The room has a wired LAN port, two deep desks, and a cable kept in a desk drawer, which was handy for my laptop. The unit bath curtain is short, so water can spill into the toilet instead of staying in the tub. There are no outlets or phone storage space by the pillow, so bring an extension cable or power strip if you want your phone nearby overnight. Room amenities are sparse. Toiletries and loungewear are in the storage area by the elevator. The parking is flat and ungated, though the road outside can get busy at certain times. Restaurants and shops are nearby and easy to reach on foot or by car. The manga cafe is closed for now, but apparently the manga library can be used during limited hours. The toilets in the rooms are surprisingly loud when their tanks refill.

The building is old, and the room felt spacious but looked dirty, even though it was clean. The wallpaper, bedspread, and bathroom curtain all added to that impression. The exhaust fan was so loud that I couldn’t sleep. The one saving point was having a 7-Eleven nearby. That’s about it.

I picked this place for the price. The building and facilities are old, though they seem well maintained. There’s a convenience store within walking distance and a large parking lot. I didn’t use the station, but it didn’t seem far. Wi-Fi worked fine, and there’s a microwave and washing machine on the first floor. The staff were very kind.

The manga cafe here stays open until 10 PM and has a big selection of shonen manga. There aren’t any alcohol vending machines, but the vending area has a microwave and chopsticks, which came in handy. The hotel feels a bit dated, with a 7-Eleven and Lawson just a 1-2 minute walk away. It’s about 7-8 minutes on foot from the nearest Age Station.
