We really wished we could have stayed longer, and we’ll definitely return. The quiet small-town neighborhood was ideal, with Family Mart about a five-minute walk away and markets just one or two minutes by car. The host gave us clear directions and instructions, and communication was excellent. Our whole family enjoyed two nights in this Japanese-style home. It had a spacious room on the top floor, a kitchen with everything we needed, a charming front garden, and parking for two cars. The futons, bath towels, and kitchen were all ready when we arrived, which we appreciated after a long drive. Thank you for a memorable stay.

The hosts were so sweet and even gave us local snacks for free. We had a wonderful time with friends, and the comfortable home made it easy to explore the town. I’d definitely recommend it for group trips.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed meeting our host. The house is traditional, charming, and very well maintained, with easy access and free parking on site. It’s spacious and comfortable for relaxing after sightseeing, and the traditional futon bed gave us restful nights. The town is peaceful and picturesque, and we could visit everything on foot. It’s also a good base for Hida Furukawa, Takayama, Shirakawa-go, and the surrounding area. Inside, everything was spotless and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Our host was kind, attentive, and always available, even at inconvenient times, and offered us delicious senbei. He responded to all our requests. A stay we’d highly recommend.

I’d never stayed in a guesthouse with my children before, and we had a great time. The bedrooms are really spacious, so it seems well suited to a big group. Restaurants and tourist spots are close by, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. One thing to keep in mind is the unit bath, which isn’t suitable for bathing together as a family. It may be better to visit a hot spring in town before checking in. Thanks for a lovely stay.♡
