Business Ryokan Hazama

I could relax here, and the atmosphere suited me, maybe because I'm from the Showa era. In the morning, the family with several small children in the room across the hall made quite a bit of noise. Sounds from the hallway carried clearly too, which could bother some guests. I always feel that one-star reviews written out of spite and dissatisfaction aren't helpful.

There were plenty of shops close by, which made me very happy. ✨ We could all use the bath in our room as a family, and breakfast was delicious. They even had a portion for my little one, which really impressed me. 😁✨ I definitely want to come back.

I saw at least 10 cockroaches during my two nights, as well as a house centipede. The room was spacious, but it didn't have a refrigerator. Some rooms apparently have no toilet inside, so I had to use the one in the communal bath. The rooms and bath are connected by a thin door, and when it was bath time, a crowd of men came in and made a lot of noise.

The tatami was covered with short hairs, which was disgusting. The towels were thin and orange, and there were no hand towels, toothbrushes, or body towels. There was no refrigerator in the room, no ice maker, and nowhere by the door to put on slippers. I asked for ice and was told they didn't have any, so I reluctantly got a mug instead. The open-air bath also wasn't being used because so few people use it. Without a room refrigerator, I got thirsty in the middle of the night and had to go to the shared hallway refrigerator for a drink. The kitchen smelled awful. When I mentioned this and the refrigerator issue, they seemed not to hear me and snorted. I asked why they were laughing, and they said they just thought I was funny. Have they lost their ears and their memory too? A one-night stay without meals was far too expensive. They shouldn't make money by gathering up what's left of a hotel that thrived during the bubble economy or high-growth period without putting any capital into it. They should invest and act like better people. They also have way too many Google stars.
