If you’re driving, the location works well. There’s a restaurant in the hotel and several more close by. It’s clean and okay, but doesn’t feel modern. The room was fine, while the WiFi and shower were horrible. I can’t imagine who designed those shower heads, they make using them as painful as possible. Breakfast was a solid mix of Western and Japanese food, with very authentic German bread. There is an onsen, though it’s small and very simple.

The free parking and great front desk service made this stay a good one. The attendant was super nice and spoke very good English. Then I answered in Japanese, and when she switched over, I couldn’t understand her Japanese. When will I learn to just stick with English when they’re capable? Route inn is worth a few extra yen to me. The rooms are bigger and nicer, and breakfast is great. I’ve stayed in lots of business hotels in Japan, and after three terrible stays at three different Toyoko Inns, I avoid them unless I have no choice. I’ve never had a bad stay at a Route Inn, and this one was no exception.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were very cooperative. The stay was budget friendly, and breakfast tasted yummy. I’d recommend it to foreigners.

A big parking lot is available, and it’s free to use. The hotel was very nice and very clean, and the free buffet breakfast was delicious.
