Koderaso

The baths are lovely, and the place is clean and very friendly. There are lots of families around. It’s no luxury ryokan, by any means.

Koderaso is a really relaxing hot spring 🔥

Getting there was difficult, but the experience was amazing.

I paid 850 yen for an adult day visit and went around 1 PM, when it was quiet. The changing room had plenty of space. Some sections had baskets, while others had lockable lockers, which was reassuring. The washing area had ReFa showerheads, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The mirrors were large and easy to see in, and the water pressure was excellent. There’s one indoor bath, which is quite spacious and on the hotter side, plus a cold plunge pool and sauna. Outside, there’s a carbonated spring. It wasn’t very strong, but I could definitely feel the bubbles. You can relax and watch the TV in the open-air bath, though the tub isn’t very big and might get crowded. There are three hair dryers with average air pressure, and disinfected hairbrushes are available too. I love traditional hot springs, and this has become one of my favorites. It’s the kind of place that wouldn’t usually show up in a search for a “super public bath,” so I really hope you’ll check it out.
