The language gap didn't stop the young woman at reception from trying hard to communicate with Google Translate. She typed incredibly fast, and later served us dinner as well. She explained every dish in detail, and her warm service made an already great French dinner even better. Our stay at Imigre made Himi a memorable trip for both of us.

The dinner was gorgeous and tasted amazing, so make sure to stay for it. The rooms are comfortable, and they provide generous extras like free drinks and snacks. It's a charming inn with beautiful views over Toyama bay and the mountains beyond.

The tents were clean and had everything we needed, so even beginners at outdoor stays could feel comfortable. We went glamping and liked it more than expected. It was peaceful spending time surrounded by nature, and the place's name really does make you feel like you'd want to move there. The food made with local ingredients was delicious, and the lounge had a view of Himi Bay where we could unwind. Nature, space, and food all came together nicely for a relaxing break. I'd definitely stay again if I return to Himi.

On my second visit, I got to relax here all over again. I really like this inn, though I do have one wish: the nearby hot spring they gave us a day pass for was just over a 20-minute walk away, which was a bit of a trek. A spring closer by would be nice. The room was clean, with a view of snow-covered Toyama Bay. Dinner was a beautiful French course featuring local crab and yellowtail, and it tasted incredible. The colorful Japanese breakfast was lovely too, especially the exquisite blackthroat seaperch.
