Sejour Inn Capsule

There are several shared spaces, all nicely decorated and well maintained. The shower was very clean, the amenities were great, and I didn't have any noise issues in the quiet area. It's close to a tram stop and several stores, and there's a USB port by the bed. We spent one night in a private room, set apart from the main room by a fabric shutter. It had two pods, two lockers, a desk, a kettle, and a tea set. One concern is building access: there was no code or key needed to get in on any level, so anyone could walk in from the street. That's a safety concern, especially since neither the capsules nor private rooms lock. As others have said, the mattress and pillow are extremely hard. The pillow seems to be filled with recycled straws, and that made it very uncomfortable.

Everything was beautifully designed, spotless, and very well kept at Sejour Inn Capsule. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful the whole time. It's a top-quality capsule hotel and a comfortable, convenient, stylish place to stay. Highly recommended!

The tram stop is right outside, and the pods are very comfortable. Each bed has a locker under or near it, and they give you a key. The facilities are clean and good, with three separate toilets and shower rooms on every floor, plus lounge areas to relax or work. The staff were fantastic, and it was great value. You can hear people walking to and from their pods, so it probably won't be completely quiet until around 11pm. Highly recommend.

There are traditional Japanese rooms where you can relax, plus a kettle and dining area. I was assigned a capsule in an individual room, which felt a bit like a hotel room behind an accordion door. The hostel has the personal hygiene items you need, and there's a bus stop right in front. Hiroshima being less touristy also makes for a peaceful stay. There were a few awkward bits. The hotel and hostel share the space, and sometimes one staff member handles both. I sometimes had to use the phone at the hostel reception to ask for help. The elevator access is confusing and leads to a storage area. After checkout, luggage storage wasn't very secure, but it did the job. Even so, I'd stay again.
