At £60 a night with breakfast included, it was good value for me. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet, and the card system made check-in and checkout easy. Very Japanese efficiency. The hotel is about ten minutes from the main station and a twenty-minute walk from the Hiroshima memorial and major sights. Reception had drinks vending and free refreshments, and the staff were helpful and polite. There are cheaper options, but the whole stay went smoothly from start to finish, so the extra cost felt worth it. I didn’t give five stars for the rooms because they’re a bit dated. That’s the only reason.

The selected rooms have LCD or plasma TVs, complimentary wireless internet, air conditioning, heating, and desks, which helped make for a comfortable night. The hotel also has recreational options. With its warm hospitality and pleasant atmosphere, it made for a good stay.

The breakfast is included and has a decent range of choices. For the price, this place is a great deal. Hiroshima station is about a 10-minute walk, and the Peace Park is roughly 20 minutes away on foot.

We managed to visit Miyajima and the main Hiroshima sights in one day from here. The station, Hiroshima Castle, and the Peace Memorial are all walkable, though Japanese “walking distance” can mean a fair trek. A city bus or taxi is an option too. The staff were supportive, and I found the breakfast good as a vegetarian. A handy choice if you're short on time, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Getting to the trains took more walking than I wanted, but the area itself was nice. There are good restaurants nearby.
