It's close to the train station, has an interesting AoT collaboration, and the parking behind the hotel is free. I took off a star because I saw something like a silverfish scurrying across the room floor and under the bed. Yuck!

The hotel has a lot of history, and some of the facilities are getting old. Still, the place is clean and you can really feel the service staff's good attitude. It's close to the station, so getting around is easy, and there's an AENO supermarket nearby for shopping.

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this needs saying. It's 30 degrees in Hita today, and none of the rooms have working AC, whatever they say. I'm sitting in my room in a T-shirt soaked with sweat. The only place I've found with AC is the lobby.

I stayed overnight at Socia Hotel while in transit before heading to Hatchobaru Powerplant. My single room was clean and spacious enough, but the bathroom was very small. I could see Hita's night view through the window. No breakfast.

The staff are friendly. The rooms are on the small side but adequate, and I slept well. A tip: drink the tap water, it tastes very pure.
