Hotel Nomad Hitachi

There’s no elevator, just so you know 😝. Still, the rooms were comfortable, breakfast was nice, and we could walk to a konbini. We spent one night here with my family on the way to Fukushima, after driving from Narita Airport. Our flight was a little late, but I let them know and they replied right away, which put me at ease. I don’t speak Japanese, though Google Translate helped, and self check-in was available in case we arrived late. I especially appreciated the woman, maybe the manager or owner, who told us there was no meat because my family are Muslims. I’m glad we got a photo with her. I’d stay here again when visiting Hitachi.

The basement restaurant has a really extensive menu. Inside, the place is quite clean, and the front desk staff were cheerful, gentle, and very kind.

Good value for a stop during a road trip. There aren’t restaurants nearby, though a Lawson is there if you need something.

Clean place, good service, and worth the money. The beach is about a 40-minute walk away.
