We booked a room with two single beds. A single bed here is actually big enough for one adult and one child. The hotel is great and inexpensive, and it’s near Hitachi Station.

The booking issue left me really disappointed. I used booking.com and picked a room with breakfast, and the app showed that breakfast was confirmed. But the hotel’s system listed the booking as room only. I wasn’t given a breakfast card when I arrived, then was asked for one in the morning and told I’d booked room only. I showed them the confirmation in the app, but they still said their system only showed room only. When I open the booking now, there’s nothing saying anything about breakfast. I wonder if this has happened to anyone else.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the hotel is conveniently next to the civic center and a mall. It’s also easy to reach the railway station if you need it. A friendly, no-frills place with fair prices, and the staff are always polite and welcoming.

Everything else was good, but the breakfast menu was almost the same every day. I stayed for two weeks and got tired of it. For a shorter stay it might be tasty enough, and otherwise all was good.

It’s easy to find, with parking for guests who bring a car. The train station is nearby, and there are lots of restaurants close by for dining.
