I stayed here in December 2025. The view of Ajigaura from the dining area was beautiful. I’d come from Isozaki Station on the Hitachinaka Seaside Railway through a residential neighborhood, so at first I didn’t feel especially close to the sea. The place has a rustic, guesthouse-like feel, and the food was delicious. The monkfish hotpot was especially satisfying, and the rice porridge served at the end was excellent. The staff were very polite, and I had a lovely stay. They even saw me off the next morning. I was able to visit nearby Sakatsura Isosaki Shrine and Nakaminato Fish Market, enjoying plenty of Ibaraki’s good food before heading home. I think it’s just right for a food-focused trip.
