My family and I visited Sunflower Park Hokuryu Hot Spring on a weekend trip, and found it a relaxing place in the peaceful countryside. The onsen is part of the Sunflower Park Hokuryu complex, famous for its summer sunflower fields, but it is also worth visiting in the colder months. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Both the indoor and outdoor baths had soothing hot water and a calm atmosphere. I especially enjoyed soaking in the open-air bath while taking in the peaceful scenery. It was a perfect way to escape the winter chill. The friendly, welcoming staff added to the relaxing atmosphere. This is more than just an onsen stop. It is also a lovely way to experience the warm hospitality of a small Hokkaido town. Whether you visit after seeing the sunflower fields or want a quiet soak after a long drive, Sunflower Park Hokuryu Hot Spring is a simple but memorable place to unwind.

It's a great place to see sunflowers and spend the day with family or a partner. The sheer number of flowers is impressive. The food court was nice too, with a festival-like feel. It's fairly close to Takikawa, and you can get there by rental car or bus.

A beautiful place filled with countless sunflowers. Try the sunflower roasted soft serve. It was really good, and it's the best soft serve I've had in Hokkaido so far.

Parking is free, and attendants kindly guide you to a spot. Sunflowers are spread across a wide area. It was packed with visitors, and there wasn't much merchandise.

The field was nice, though we missed the peak season by a week. It's a decent stop if you're driving and have an hour to spare.
