Petit Hotel & Restaurant Old Age

A really nice place, and the owner was very friendly. It was the off season when we visited, so things were very quiet. The toiletries provided were nice too.

The food alone makes this place worth a visit. Everything was incredibly delicious and creative, and the coffee, garden, and overall concept all felt thoughtfully put together. The staff were cheerful and polite in their words and actions. They came out to greet us and offered suggestions. For such a reasonable price, I was very happy with the excellent service. Since I wasn’t spending much, I didn’t mind that no one came out to say goodbye. If all you want is to enjoy good food and drinks with your companions, then rest in a room with basic amenities, this place works perfectly. I think it suits mature guests, close friends, or families. I read the negative reviews and decided to share my own thoughts. As for the room amenities, if something isn’t listed when you book, it’s obvious it isn’t included. And if you’re going to complain afterward that the room is small, you should book a hotel that advertises spacious rooms. Check the price range, description, and your own behavior carefully before staying here.

The food was delicious, but the stay left me frustrated. We were first shown a small room and told it was what we’d booked. Then we were offered a larger one for an extra charge, which we accepted. We later learned we were the only guests there. There seemed to be several room types, and although we hadn’t selected one, the way it was handled made it feel like we’d been deliberately shown the smallest room and steered into paying for the biggest. Dinner was another issue. We’d booked a course that included drinks, but nobody mentioned that when they asked us to choose drinks. Only after we pointed out that they should be included did they explain which drinks came with the meal. If we hadn’t asked, it seemed we would have been charged for the included drinks separately as well. We also had concerns about the owner’s response.

The food was tasty, and the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality. It’s a calm restaurant and hotel where you can really relax.
