I’d get a room with an ocean view. We booked half board, and both meals were good, though not fantastic. The sand bath was a nice experience. It’s a dated resort, but very clean, and the service was excellent. Someone had mentioned termites in a review, but I think that’s settled now, so no worries.

The service overall was very good, and the food quality was truly exceptional. I also found the sand steam bath delightful and invigorating. It was disappointing, though, to find termites in the room.

This hotel has an onsen hot spring facility with lockers in the changing room for your belongings. There are two bathtubs for painkillers use, one inside the building and the other out on the terrace. From the outdoor tub, you can see across the whole bay. The hotel itself seemed very clean and tidy.

We stayed in a seaview room and spent a lovely afternoon enjoying the soft, relaxing breeze. It was an unforgettable stay and totally worth the money. Though rated 3-star, it felt closer to 4-5 star, with a very tidy, traditional japanese interior and excellent service. Dinner and breakfast were half-buffet, made with world-class fresh ingredients. One of the best Hot-spring Hotel stays we've ever had, highly recommended!

The bay views are beautiful, and the Onsen is nice. There’s a pleasant walkway along the shore, though getting to it isn’t the easiest. There are lots of visitors from outside the West, and the food is served more buffet-style.
