I only went to the onsen, not the hotel itself. It was a relaxing visit, with a faint smell and a big shower area. There was an indoor pool and an outdoor natural pool with deep black water. My one gripe was how small the changing room was. You can buy milk from vending machines, and there's also a restaurant at the hotel. It cost 600 yen, with another 160 for a towel. The place is a long way from the nearest station, but I thought the trip was worth it.

Getting there is the downside: it's far from public transport, and Goi Station was about a 30-45 minute walk. The hotel itself is quietly run and the service was friendly and great. It feels more like a small family operation than a big Japanese business hotel such as APA or Toyoko. I think the on-site onsen is the main draw, with a small outdoor area and a strongly red mineral bath.
