They couldn't give me the non-smoking room I asked for. When I walked in, there was air freshener and bug spray provided. Bug spray, seriously? I'm leaving.

The room was tiny and dated, though it's very close to Goi station. The TV wouldn't turn on.

The bath water never got properly hot, staying below 40°C, which was disappointing. The reception staff were helpful and the location was great. The room was small and old, but for the price it felt reasonable and I had no other complaints.

I found the room fine for a solo overnight stay, even though it's a bit smaller than average. It's about a three-minute walk to Goi Station, right by JR Goi Station. Chiba City is a little farther away, but the room rate was about half what other hotels charge. Makuhari is a 30-minute train ride, and the surf spots around Kujukuri are just over an hour away by car. The front desk took time to explain things carefully. My smoking room was clean and didn't smell of the previous guest's cigarettes. Smokers should book a smoking room, and remember that smoking on the streets outside the hotel is prohibited. Parking needs to be booked along with the stay. If it's full, you'll need to use a nearby paid lot.

The building and facilities are old, but I really liked how polite and friendly the front desk service was. It's also close to Goi Station. I'd stay here again.
