Hotel Route-Inn Ichinoseki Inter

It's a long way from the station, but getting to Chuzon-ji and other sights is easy by car. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, with plenty more a short drive away. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and have great views, and the price is reasonable. WiFi worked without connection issues and streamed video smoothly. There's a large public bath as well as a full bathroom in each room. Breakfast is a simple buffet with a good range of choices.

Breakfast at the hotel was good.

The room's always tidy and the detailed cleaning feels reassuring. Reception is polite and pleasant, and booking online is easy to understand. I also like that the hotel has a similar feel across the country. The layout seems well considered, with drinks and amenities kept out of sight of the front desk, which makes me feel safe using them. One thing I'd ask Route Inn to consider is adding handrails in the bath area. They could help guests with weaker legs, people tired from travel, or anyone who's had a few drinks when checking the water temperature with their feet. Even if it costs a little more, a handhold would be useful. Please consider it, and thank you for always providing a relaxing space.
