The room was basic but priced very reasonably, and a simple breakfast was included. Since Iga isn't a popular tourist spot, the room seemed like it hadn't been occupied for a while and needed the air conditioner to freshen it up. From the room, I could see Iga-ueno Castle and the city. Trains on the adjoining track were a little noisy, but there are only 1-2 per hour, so it was fine. The nearest Nishiote Station isn't served very conveniently, either, since some trains only start at Ueno-shi Station.

Breakfast and dinner were both really good for what we paid. The rooms were clean, the facilities were good, and Iga Castle and the Ninja Museum are very close by.

We had a great three-night stay. The best part was the service: the staff were always ready to help, and the front desk person, whose name we didn't get, would call us to offer our complimentary drinks when we chose the eco-cleaning option. The hotel was well equipped, with functional rooms, a spectacular breakfast, and its own onsen. It's a convenient spot in Iga Mie near Nishiote station, and Toyota Rent a Car is an easy walk away. Worth the price and the visit. I'd definitely recommend it if you're visiting the Ninja City of Iga.

I could see Iga Ueno Castile from my window, and there's a convenience store less than two minutes down the street. The restaurant's dinner set was delicious and cost only 1000 yen, with about eight entree choices. The hotel is comfortable and still quite pleasant, even if it's showing its age a little.
