Business Hotel Noble Iiyama

Nice stay, and the mountains were completely covered when I looked outside.

A memory to cherish.

I booked this hotel only for its location when visiting Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, since I couldn't get a reservation anywhere in Nozawa Onsen. It wasn't bad overall, and the room itself wasn't small, but the lack of an elevator and a washlet bothered me. The worst part was the toilet and unit bath. I've stayed in all kinds of places, but this was the smallest unit bath I've ever used. Anyone with claustrophobia would probably feel overwhelmed. The tub was triangular rather than rectangular, so I kept bumping into the shower curtain while washing. For two adults in a twin room with no meals, it cost ¥13,500 per night. If I weren't skiing, I wouldn't stay there for ¥8,000. Still, those prices make sense for this area at this time of year, which is why I gave it this rating.

I've stayed here many times, and this visit was for several nights as a base for snowboarding. The location is great, with bars and restaurants just a short walk away. It was also very convenient that I could leave my car parked there until evening on checkout day.
