Do Sports Plaza Madarao

This hotel has loads of character and is really clean. The staff were so nice and accommodating!

The place is old, but the staff are super nice and breakfast is very good.

The food was plentiful and delicious, especially the bread. You can order dinner at the hotel, and the menu and prices change each day. It’s a handy option when you don’t feel like going out to a restaurant. After skiing, it was lovely to find the public bath already filled with hot water. Our room also had a small sink, which was convenient. There’s no self-service laundry, but they offer paid laundry service. The hotel is a short walk uphill from the ski resort, though they provide a shuttle. It’s run by a lovely couple, and we felt at home there every day.

The freshly cooked food was delicious, and the warm, dependable hospitality from the wife and kind husband really stood out. It felt like the homey pensions I used to stay in as a student. We were with our family and arrived early in the morning. They were able to take us in from 8am, which helped a lot, and gave us useful advice about lift tickets and Madarao Ski Resort. The loft in our room was a big hit with the kids lol. The powder tree run is so much fun that I’ll probably return to Madarao Ski Resort. If I do, I’d definitely stay here again.
