Resort Square Sun Verde

All the breakfast and dinner sets were delicious, with distinctive local dishes and incredible quality. The homely hot spa was great too, and the hotel is very close to Togari and Nozawa ski resorts. It's a remarkable family-run hotel, and everyone showed us amazing hospitality. My four friends and I are so grateful we stayed here. Thanks for everything, and we hope to come back! 🙇

The views were spectacular, and there are restaurants just a couple of minutes away on foot. The room was nice and big, the shared facilities were good, and there's a large onsen and a beer vending machine. Great staff, especially Taka. Makes me want to come back.

We really enjoyed the slower pace here, away from the bustle of the better known areas, which are just a short drive away. It's a thoughtful family-run Japanese inn with indoor thermal spring baths that are perfect after skiing. This isn't an impersonal luxury hotel, it's a chance to have a genuine cultural experience in a small country town. The family have put a lot of effort into looking after guests. Highly recommend, and special thanks to Taka, an excellent host who went out of his way to be welcoming, warm, and helpful.

The tea area and the gorgeous view were my favorite places to unwind and take in the surroundings. The inn has a peaceful, cozy feel that made it easy to rest and recharge. Meals were beautifully prepared, full of local flavors, and unforgettable. Everything felt thoughtful and genuine, and I've already been dreaming about coming back to Iiyama. I'd highly recommend it for a memorable stay.
