The Kairi/Nautical suite made the stay extra special. It was beautiful and had a private Onsen in the room, and being able to add cold water made it comfortable even in the heat. The views were amazing, and the traditional Japanese feel came through in a wonderful way. Food focused on fresh, local, high-quality ingredients and was presented beautifully. The service was impeccable, with staff taking care of everything with kindness, grace, and real passion. Katano deserves a special mention for being naturally thoughtful and making sure we were happy and informed. There was one small issue, but it was sorted out quickly and with care. All the staff were friendly and had a great sense of humour. Many didn't speak English, but their kindness and service made everything clear.

Iki is a beautiful, peaceful little island, and we had a lovely two nights and three days at Kairi Murakami retreat. The service was wonderful, and dinner and breakfast were good. The public and in-room onsen were both great, though I wish the balcony tub were bigger. The rooms are a little old. If you've stayed at luxury ryokans in Japan, this place might be a bit disappointing.

The food was sublime, and the staff were attentive and went out of their way to help. We had a wonderful few days here. The facilities were excellent, especially the onsens and the private bath on the terrace.

It was a fantastic stay, and my nephew, who hasn't experienced many ryokans or hot springs, came away with an even better impression of them. My mother says she wants to come back, too. Thank you for all the effort.

The view is spectacular, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. A beautiful Ryokan with amazing food and a really nice onsen.
