I stayed here several years ago. That day, only two of us ended up staying at the hotel, but the owner still heated the bath for just the two of us. Super friendly!

With a great view, New Choshu is right in front of Indoji Port. I've noted it on my wonder-tips site.
The female staff member was friendly and easy to talk to. It was comfortable and relaxing, and the food was delicious ✨. Just right for a family trip or even a short business stay ✨.
I realized this inn caters to everyone, from business travelers to tourists. I couldn't book a dinner plan, but breakfast was delicious, and I was glad I managed to finish it. They also offer free coffee and cash-on-delivery delivery. The landlady was friendly, responded right away when I locked myself out, and was happy to chat about all sorts of things when I left. I arrived by ferry in the afternoon, and the staff had stepped out when I unloaded my heavy motorcycle luggage. I called, the call was forwarded to my mobile, and they kindly said I could leave my things there. There isn't a bathroom or toilet in the room, but the shared bathroom is spacious for an inn this size. You can enjoy a soak at 11:30pm or 6am, which was a great way to recover after riding in the rain. The inn is on the outskirts of Intsuji, Ishida-cho, facing the sea. The village is compact, so dinner is within walking distance and the location isn't inconvenient. I'd first visited Iki in March and had planned to tour Tsushima this time, but rough weather meant the ferry from Hakata only reached Iki, and the route from Iki to Tsushima was canceled. I cut my two-night Tsushima stay down to one night, then found this rare same-day booking on the Jalan app. There's a "Tonight's Accommodation" button on the app that I should have used, but I didn't know about it and booked the usual way.
The woman's manner was incredibly overbearing. I love Iki, but this inn just wasn't good. There are plenty of other nice guesthouses and hotels on Iki, so I think it's better to look elsewhere.
