Hotel Route Inn Imabari

It's a quiet hotel in a remote spot near mountains and tempels, and I felt at peace there. The calm made it a great escape from the rush of everyday life. There's a communal bath, and the breakfast buffet is really good.

Two nights ago I had a really comfortable stay at Hotel Route Inn Imabari. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. The large public bath, natural hot spring “Tabibito no Yu,” was clean and relaxing, and the new coin laundry was easy to use. It's not right by the station, but getting around was still convenient. Great value for money, and I'll choose Route Inn again.

I stay here often. I can't speak for other Route Inn hotels, but this one has black and brown shoe cream, which comes in handy. If you skip daily cleaning on consecutive nights, they give you a soft drink or beer for free. The Wi-Fi is fine, and there's a hot spring bath. The bath is clean, without the usual issue of dirt from other guests floating around in the water. I was curious how they managed that, and apparently they periodically let a large amount of water overflow to wash away dirt on the surface. I appreciate that kind of care. The bath alone is quite good, and I'd put it in the decent natural hot spring category. The dryers in the bath are powerful, and the lotion and moisturizer they provide are useful in winter. The lounge coffee is rich and delicious too. I think it's a hotel with very good value. It's far from the station, but I usually drive when I'm in Imabari, so that doesn't bother me. This Route Inn is a good choice for office workers.
