The host was really nice, and the room was clean, spacious, and tidy. The place is remote, so dinner there is a must since no other restaurants are open. The Japanese food was good quality.

Highly recommend staying here and eating here too.
We had the place to ourselves, maybe because it was the off-season, while we were visiting Noshima Castle. The food was nearly perfect in both quality and amount, especially for anyone who loves fish. One more local fish dish at breakfast would have made it a full 100%.
The fish was fresh, well seasoned, and plentiful, which left us very satisfied. My husband and I came with high hopes for the food, and it exceeded them. Some of the facilities and parts of the building are visibly a bit old, but I still felt we got good value for the price.
Waking up to the harbor, a little ferry pulling in, and tiny islands scattered across the Seto Inland Sea was such a lovely, unhurried way to start the day. My family of three stayed during our long-awaited ride along the Shimanami Kaido and Tobishima Kaido, and we really appreciated the relaxed feel. It felt more like a somewhat larger inn than a regular guesthouse, and the seafood was delicious. When we left, Grandma, Dad, and Mom came out to see us off. We chatted about the rest of our trip, then headed out after hearing, "Come again!" It brought back memories of guesthouses I stayed in as a child (#^.^#). A nostalgic stay, and I’m grateful for the lovely time.
