Hotel Art Inn Namba

A subway entrance and Dotonburi are both just a two-minute walk away, with nightlife, shopping, and street food nearby. Even so, the place is set off the busy street, so it wasn’t too noisy. The rooms were a little small, but fine for one night. They provided welcome drinks and snacks, plus a drinking water dispenser on every floor. Very good location, highly recommended.

There’s a shared lobby where breakfast and snacks are served during the day, and that was included with our room. The staff were friendly and answered our questions. The hotel was very clean and functional, with efficient use of space. The rooms are tiny, as is typical in Japan, so large suitcases will make things tight.

You can get around Namba on foot from here, and the trains are only a few meters away if you want to go farther. The room felt cozy, the service was great, and it’s very kid friendly. They even include breakfast and free snacks. I’d stay here again on another Osaka trip.

Art Inn Namba is a good pick if you mainly need a place to sleep. It’s a couple of blocks from Dotonbori and an easy walk to several transit stations. The double room was small, but two of us fit without a problem, and it was clean and fairly quiet on the 4th floor. Staff were friendly and helpful, with great English, and the price was very affordable. You still get a private room and bath for a cheap bed.
