The shared room had 20 people, so it was messy and noisy all the time. The kitchen was spacious, but there weren’t enough plates or silverware. On the female-only floor, the bathrooms and showers needed more frequent cleaning. They were already dirty when I checked in at 3 pm, which made me wonder how they’d been cleaned. It’s cheap, but this hostel doesn’t have the warm atmosphere or good vibes a backpacker might want.

The karaoke from the building next door blared all night, right up to 6 am. With no proper noise barrier, trying to sleep felt like being in a nightclub. I complained to staff, but they were dismissive and didn’t help. Other reviews suggest this has been an ongoing issue for ages, and management still hasn’t fixed it. They also refused a refund even though guests couldn’t sleep a single night. There are better places nearby. If you care about sleep, peace, or basic hospitality, don’t stay here.

A good spot in Oosaka if you’re traveling alone or with friends. It was cheap, safe, very quiet, and in a strategic location. The bathroom was very clean, and the staff were kind and professional.

Although it was spacious, the room had a strong damp smell, and the “women-only” floor didn’t feel safe. Male staff could enter freely, and some guests brought men in too, defeating the purpose. After two nights, I developed large, itchy, swollen red patches on my skin and had to cut my trip short. I strongly suggest the hostel deal with the hygiene problem, especially possible bed bugs, and replace or thoroughly clean the bedding. The price was cheap, but the overall environment was very poor. It was a deeply disappointing stay.
