Hotel WIN

The hotel’s handy if you’re coming for Imari’s Motor Driving School, since it’s right in front of the school. It’s also around 6-8 minutes from Imari Station, so the main city is close by. The building looks fairly new, and the rooms have a similarly new feel. For English-only speakers, the staff are friendly and happy to help with booking. There are vending machines around the hotel, plus a convenience store about a block away for food or alcoholic drinks. The first floor also has a cafe and bento spot with a pleasant seating area if you just want to relax there. For longer stays, they restock used supplies during lunchtime. The usual business hotel amenities are provided, though I would’ve liked more towels and a usable razor kit. Hotel Win felt like a real find, especially for the modest price.

I stayed here with a friend during the Arita Pottery Festival, and having a room each worked out perfectly. The rooms are small, but that didn’t bother me, and I liked having the switches and outlets right beside the bed. Staff were very nice, parking was free, and the price seemed reasonable. It’s a good base for visiting Arita, Hasami, and Okawachiyama Pottery Village.

The rooms were in great shape and the staff were excellent, so I really enjoyed spending more than a week here. The bus and train station are about a 15 minute walk away, so you may want to rent a car.

I liked it here. The hotel is new, with a 7-11 nearby and a laundromat right outside that has about 3-4 machines. It took about 30 minutes to drive here from takeo, and I stayed one night.
