Hotel Ina

I've stayed here several times, most recently in October. The reception ladies have always treated me very well, and they let me park my motorbike by the entrance. The older woman, who owns the place, is very nice. Whenever I come back to Ina, I'll stay here.

The staff were super friendly, and the room was clean. You can also use the onsen and sauna at no extra charge.

We got there at 7:30 PM and all three parking lots were full. The third lot is gravel and narrow, and from the road it's hard to tell if there's a space. There are plenty of public lots nearby, including a Times lot with a daily maximum across the tracks from the bank. Rather than hunting for the third hotel lot, you could use the one by the bank. Although the hotel is close to the station, not many people seem to walk there. The bathroom door locks from inside, and the water was lukewarm. There's a microwave and extra glasses on the second floor. It was a day with a 2°C low, and I found it amusing that an electric-blanket-like device was plugged into the futon. The hallway has a slight toilet smell, but it's not too bad. It's nice to have an inexpensive room-only stay.

I've stayed twice. It's an older hotel, clean, but the years show. I'd choose it when nowhere else nearby has a room. To me, it's a little better than the Aoki hotel next door.
