Aburaya Annex Nagomitei

The room was spacious and comfortable, and both meals were generous and satisfying. We were completely full after dinner and breakfast. The staff made a real effort to communicate and help us in the English they knew, which made the trip comfortable and enjoyable. I’d been a little anxious at first because the booking and information were all in Japanese. Ine itself is beautiful, with mountains and sea around it, and its quiet atmosphere makes it easy to relax and take in the scenery. I’m grateful to all the staff, especially Mr. Hashimoto for the warm hospitality. We’ll definitely come back.

My husband and I had a fantastic two-night stay at Nagomi tei. The onsen, meal, and service were all lovely. We’d definitely consider coming back in the near future!

The rotenburo view was absolutely astonishing, and the water felt great. It’s a beautiful ryokan with an amazing onsen. Try getting up before sunrise.

The room’s open-air bath looked straight out over the Sea of Japan, and soaking there as the ocean changed through the day was blissful. Dinner was served in a separate room, so its smell didn’t linger where I slept, and I could enjoy the meal undisturbed at a time that suited me. I chose the “Enjoy Crab! Approximately Two Full Course Crab Meals” plan. Even though it wasn’t crab season, the amount and quality were impeccable, and the sashimi, grilled fish, and hot pot all showed off their ingredients. I stayed alone in the special “Ruri no Umi” room at Aburaya Annex Nagotei, an Okuine Onsen hotel with a panoramic Sea of Japan view. The room was a remarkable 233 square meters, and having a whole floor to ourselves meant total privacy and a real sense of openness and quiet. It felt like a hidden inn for adults. The room, hot springs, scenery, food, and peaceful atmosphere came together beautifully. I could see this being perfect for an anniversary or a trip to treat yourself. It was an incredible stay, and one I’ll never forget. I definitely want to return.
