The rooms are huge and brand new, what a great find. There’s no elevator, so just bring what you need and leave the suitcases in the car. The staff were nice, and there’s a washi Workshop on site. I didn’t try the french Restaurant, but it looked really tasty. I’d absolutely recommend the Hotel, even if you’re into luxury.

The onsen is great, and the room was brand new with good beds and everything well equipped. The toilet and shower are separate. This place deserves a much better rating.

The guest rooms are a long way from the front desk, and there are no elevators, so you’ll have to haul your luggage up the high stairs. The twin room was spacious, with a small toilet. It was clean, though a bit worn. There’s a marvelous shop with really good local produce, and the French-style food was yummy. The cake was good too. Overall, staying here was OK.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, but it looked very nice. A paper-making workshop was happening, and paper, the local specialty, was everywhere. The shop had a good selection of local items, including one of the most beautiful knives I’ve ever seen.

I didn’t stay here, but I had a bad experience with the person I spoke to on the phone. I’d made a reservation and cancelled because the COVID-19 situation was getting worse. Somehow, the cancellation didn’t go through. I explained what happened, but the hotel kept insisting I had to pay the hotel fee. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.
