There’s a grocery store across the street, and 7-11, Family Mart, and Lawsons are all a couple of blocks away. The hotel is a quick walk from the train station in a quiet area. The rooms feel modern and updated, and they’re clean, with comfy beds, great pillows, and plenty of useful things: charging cables, a safe, blow dryer, mini refrigerator, electric hot water pot, and more. So glad we stayed here!

For the money, this place is still great, and the location works well, especially if it’s not your first time in Tokyo. It’s easy to reach different parts of the city, and the recently renovated rooms are comfortable enough. But there’s a horrible mechanical noise, like a metal cart rolling over cobblestones. I don’t know if it’s a garage door or an actual cart, but it sometimes happens at 1am, 6am, or 7am and wakes you up terrified, wondering if the building is collapsing. Despite the positives, the sleepless nights limit me to two stars. Be prepared for that noise.

Everything was good, the facilities all worked well, and there was enough room for two people. We stayed for 10 days and the room was never cleaned, which was the only downside. It says cleaning is available for 2k yen.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Our bunk bed room slept six easily, and having a grocery store across the street was handy. I’d recommend this for anyone staying around the Tokyo Dome area.

My family and I ended up loving the stay, and it was a great start to our first time in Japan. The room was clean, comfortable, and seemed to have fresh linens. At 20sqm, it was enough for three adults. WiFi worked smoothly. The bathroom was compact, though, and at 6ft tall I could graze the ceiling vent in the bathtub shower if I tiptoed. The full set of toiletries helped make up for that: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, face and hand soap, and individually packed toothbrushes. This was a pleasant surprise for a low-cost hotel. The hotel seems to be in an office district, so it gets quiet in the evening. There’s a supermarket opposite, but the closest convenience store takes a bit of walking, and restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, FamilyMart, and Lawson are at least 450m away, so we had to walk out for dinner. Before arriving, I’d read mixed reviews about the rooms, staff, and location and worried I’d picked the wrong place for my first night. I even panicked when I thought our room wasn’t on a lift-served floor and we’d need to carry luggage up stairs. That worry was unfounded: since the change from Flexstay Inn to Hotel MYSTAYS, things have improved a lot. Every floor has lift access, and the lift can fit 3-4 people with three large suitcases. Check-in took minutes, and the front desk was professional, efficient, and polite.
