Sun Park Inuyama

The location worked well for visiting Inuyama Castle, which was under a 20-minute walk away, but I couldn't see any restaurants or convenience stores nearby. I stayed in an 8-tatami Japanese-style room for business, without meals. It was spacious enough for one, though it had a toilet but no bath, and the air conditioner was very dated, with airflow adjustment only and no heat/cool switch or temperature setting. There is a large public bath. Service was limited to handing over the key, and I had to lay out my own futon. The facility seems to be aging and is apparently due to close soon.

The old Japanese-style rooms have a nostalgic feel, and there's a large public bath. It's also within walking distance of Inuyama Station. The bath is open to people who aren't staying at the hotel, though, so it can get pretty crowded.

The breakfast included in my plan was really nice. The hotel is also close to Monkey Park and Inuyama Castle, so I enjoyed seeing Inuyama. I rented a Japanese-style room and was very satisfied. Service was minimal but enough for me. Laying out the futon was optional, and I did it myself without feeling inconvenienced. The large public bath was great. I'd like to come back with my children to visit Meiji Village and Little World.

I had to stay because of an urgent matter, but the room was over 30 degrees Celsius when I entered on the third floor. With the air conditioner running full blast, it only got down to 29.6 degrees, so it was too hot to stay there. When I raised it with the front desk, the cooling improved a little. Given that it was the hottest day of the summer so far, their response was terrible. With central air conditioning, not being able to adjust the room temperature like this is unacceptable these days.
