Hotel Oishi

Hotels closer to the lantern festival were charging absurd tourist prices. This one was a bit farther away and more affordable, so I'd choose it again.

After plenty of business trips and stays in all sorts of hotels, I found this one hard to trust. Usually, when someone is staying several nights, hotels leave their luggage alone, especially if anything seems questionable, until checkout. This place didn't follow that expectation, and the surprise was stressful. I was only staying one night anyway and won't return, so I'll leave it there.

For today's prices, being able to stay here at this rate is great. The room seemed clean, and I'm quite particular about that, though there was hair left in the bathtub. On the first day it was clearly someone else's. Before leaving the next day, I checked that there wasn't any hair there, so I'm not sure if the hair afterward was mine. Either way, it's really gross. Please check the tub after cleaning. The road outside is a little narrow, and although there's parking in front, there are no marked spaces, so it's hard to tell where to park. Hope the hotel keeps doing well.

Seems like a decent choice if you're after somewhere cheap to stay.
