They let us check in early after we asked about storing our luggage, which was great service. The rooms were okay and came with several small appliances, including a foot massager. More outlets or a power strip would have helped. Our mattress had one firm side and one worn side, and my partner needed a while to decide which worked better for her. The hotel is reasonably priced and about a 5-10 minute walk from the station. Castle ruins park and a few other attractions are within walking distance, and the river is nice for a stroll. Upstairs, the public bath is small, with just four shower stalls, and is for men only for most of the night. It was too hot for me, so I wussed out. The free laundry is across the hall and comes with detergent, so I didn’t need to bring pods from home.

The facilities are a bit dated, but the bath is relaxing and the service is straightforward and pleasant. It’s under a 10-minute walk from the station.

It’s close to Isahaya Station, but there aren’t any convenience stores nearby, so getting small things is inconvenient. The room is old, though nicely renovated, and the age of the facilities still shows.

The place has a welcoming, homey atmosphere. Staff were polite and helpful, explaining the facilities and assisting at the front desk. It’s conveniently near Isahaya Station for sightseeing, and there’s a roomy open-air parking lot next door. A welcome drink is provided, and the rooms are clean with a range of amenities. My room had a foot massager.
