The room was nice, but the hotel was pretty terrible. They charged around 3000 yen as a service fee without explaining it. I didn't receive any service, and if that fee was planned from the start, it should've been included in the room rate instead of handled in such a roundabout way that feels deceptive. Paying by credit card was also incredibly inconvenient. Having to process everything in person in this day and age is unacceptable. They really should rethink the system. Try it for yourselves, if you want.

The room itself was nice, with basic cleanliness, a normal spacious bathroom and the usual amenities. There was no mirror in the bathroom, but sunlight came in when I opened the curtains. Still, the stay was a big disappointment, and I wouldn't return to this hotel or any of its affiliated hotels. I checked in after midnight and was charged a holiday rate. The room's price list said Saturday, Sunday and holiday checkout was at 12pm. A small note at the bottom mentioned special rates for periods like Obon, New Year's and Golden Week, but gave neither the amount nor the stay times. I checked out before 12pm and was charged almost twice the rate I'd confirmed earlier on the website. At the front desk, they said Obon checkout was at 10am, so there was an extended fee, plus several thousand yen as a special service fee. Neither the booking-site price list nor the official website said the listed rates were for Obon. If I'd known, I wouldn't have stayed. They apparently post this in the availability confirmation area at check-in, which I didn't notice, so check there if you stay. The official site's “Price simulation here” link was broken, so I couldn't get a simulation or confirm the actual price. The man at the front desk was extremely rude and overbearing. It made for an unpleasant end to the stay after I'd been feeling good in my room. The payment machines only took cash and, as of now, wouldn't accept new banknotes. When I called from the first-floor machine to ask about paying by card, I was told they'd take payment in my room and to go back there. To avoid making multiple trips, I'd call the front desk from your room if you want to pay by card.

I booked online late at night while travelling from Fukuoka to Ise. On arrival, I waited a little inside the entrance, where there was a lovely scent. The man at the front desk was friendly even though it was late, and lent me shampoo, a straightening iron and other things. I was surprised by how many amenities were in the room, and I could borrow brand-name facial cleanser for free. The fluffy bathrobe was warm and comfortable, especially around my stomach. I ordered both Japanese and Western breakfast. The Western roll sandwich was delicious, with bread lightly toasted until crisp. I had a very comfortable stay with no complaints. The service and rooms were excellent, and I’d definitely stay again and recommend the hotel.

The building is new, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are excellent. For the quality, the price isn't too high. I'd put it among the prefecture's top three love hotels, and I think my girlfriend would be pleased. Women value cleanliness above all else (^_^;) I don't mind talking to the front desk, but I think some people would like being able to order and leave without doing that. Could it also work as a business hotel? I recommend it.
