Yumebito House II - Hostel

The room upstairs was more spacious than I expected for a youth hostel, with private rooms and a Japanese-style room on the second floor, and another Japanese-style room on the third. I knew from online information that the hostel used vacant spaces in the shopping district, so it was easy to walk past. When I arrived, I learned check-in was at the Yumet House. A friendly staff member walked me there, explained everything carefully, checked me in, and showed me to my room. The entrance seemed a bit dated for a repurposed space, but the room itself was better than expected. The PVC mattress and pillows were cleaned every day, though that setup might not suit everyone. Soundproofing wasn't great, and I couldn't tell whether the noise was from people walking in the shopping district below or from the neighboring rooms.

For the same price as a capsule, I got the same amount of space but no bath or soundproofing. It was cheap, so I can't complain too much, but there were no curtains, just thin glass. Drunk people could be heard loudly until morning.
