Itako Fujiya Hotel

The hotel looks like it's still in the same condition as when it was built in the 1970s. The meals are about the level of a 5,000-won Korean set meal. I booked my last-day golf round through a golf tour agency, but the owner changed the tee time without telling me. Instead of apologizing, he got angry and swore at me. It was a case of the pot calling the kettle black. I trusted the agency with the golf tour, but the service was absolutely terrible. This went beyond being unfriendly. I was shocked by what felt like a complete abuse of power.

I travel to Japan often, and this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I can't believe a place this bad exists, and I don't think there's much room for improvement.

The view was nice, the accommodation was old, and the large public bath was very small, though the water seemed good. I was very satisfied with the three golf courses, and lunch was delicious. They provide airport pickup and drop-off, breakfast, transport to and from the golf course, and dinner. It seems like good value for older guests, so maybe I'll come back in 20 years. The stay felt like a student retreat, and the meals weren't good. They set a table for our group at dinner, but there was nothing to eat. They charged an extra 6,000 won for the ramen noodles in the Budae Jjigae. Lol, it made me want to swear. The side dishes were awful and they didn't refill them. I wonder what those people who say it's delicious are talking about. ??? They seemed to be staff members. We walked downtown to eat at local restaurants all three days. After breakfast, we even had to clear away the leftovers ourselves. ㅠㅠ

The tatami room was nice, and the public bath on the 7th floor was great for easing the fatigue after a round of golf. The 1st floor bar was a good spot for an evening drink. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel.
