Flycat Inn Ise

I was a little nervous before arriving because there's no front desk and both check-in and entry depend on a password registered in advance. My friend had arranged the stay, and getting in turned out to be no problem. I visited in late February 2026. The room had what I needed: a hair dryer, bath and mini towels, kettle, insect repellent, mini-fridge, air conditioner, slippers, robe, and more. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were mounted in the unit bathroom. There's an elevator too, so carrying a suitcase is easy. I planned to eat both dinner and breakfast out, and had a comfortable stay. There isn't parking on site, but there are several paid lots nearby. I expected mostly foreign visitors, but saw five or six Japanese people at the entrance when I checked in. Room options go from single to queen. This seems well suited to someone who just needs a place to sleep and doesn't need meals. I'd like to see more hotels like this.

Check-in is handled on a tablet without staff at reception, and the limited services help keep the price good. The room was very clean and compact, but comfortable enough for sleeping. The location is handy, almost directly across from Ujiyamada Station and an easy walk from Iseshi Station. Convenience stores and supermarkets are close by, so shopping is no trouble.

The station is right outside, and there's parking beneath the railway overpass for 300 yen a day. The room was very small, without a table, chairs, or a refrigerator, although it did have a basic warming cabinet. I could hear the TV and other noise from next door. The bathroom curtain had mold on it. Given the price, I could put up with those things. But I woke up with six incredibly itchy mite bites, on the top of my left foot, three on my left thigh, my left arm, and my left temple. I can't say what caused them, but every spot had been against the bed. I had to wear long sleeves all day. I vow never to stay in a budget hotel again, not just this one.

The low room rate made this a good deal to me. Check-in was smooth, and although the room was quite small, I slept without any trouble. I tried to keep my voice down, but couldn't hear anything from the neighboring room. The semi-double room's fridge barely cooled and only fit two 500 ml plastic bottles. Shared refrigerators were available on each floor. I parked in a lot about a three-minute walk away, for 300 yen per night.
