We came for one night in September with our daughter and her family, who live on the island. Stepping inside, we were struck by how open the place felt. As we looked through the rooms and facilities, everything seemed so nicely put together that my daughter and I said we had to keep it clean and in good shape. Our 10-month-old grandson could crawl around safely, and the kids' pool we'd requested ahead of time was bigger than we expected, just right for our 3-year-old grandson who loves swimming. We even caught a glimpse of the Milky Way that night, which made me very happy. One night felt too short, so next time we'd like to stay more than two nights. Thank you!

Jupiter is my number one pension on Ishigaki Island. The rooms are very clean and well equipped, including toys and baby supplies for little ones, soccer balls, tableware, and other things to keep children happy. You could arrive empty-handed and still be comfortable. The seasonal decorations inside are a fun touch, too. Nearby, the natural scenery is lovely, and from Kannon-do Temple you can take in beautiful ocean views and watch the sunset. This pension is a choice you can feel confident about.
This was my second stay, and just like last time, I was impressed by how much they do for guests. The many amenities are especially handy when traveling with children, and the place is well maintained, which made for a comfortable visit. I especially enjoyed the coffee on the wooden deck. In the morning, there were birds calling that I don't hear around my home. Fusaki Beach is walkable too, if you're up for a bit of a walk.
Three generations of us came to celebrate my father's 70th birthday. We had an 8-month-old with us, and staying was easy thanks to the tatami rooms, baby chair, baby soap, and bed rails to prevent falls. The grassy garden and big wooden deck veranda made a lovely setting for summer memories, from barbecues and pool time to fireworks. The owner was kind and quick to respond, which put us at ease. We'd definitely come back.
I didn't expect the garden to be as big as it was, judging from the photos. We had a BBQ on our first day, and the charcoal and gear were supplied and very clean. There was lots of tableware, from plates and cutlery to cups, including dishes for little kids, so we could take some stylish photos. The kitchen is roomy and has a three-burner stove, which looks fun to cook on. At night, I won't forget looking at the stars while swaying in the hammock. We were comfortable here and would stay again if we return to Ishigaki Island.
