We didn’t stay overnight, but visited the Onsen and had a prix fixe meal served elegantly in a beautiful, quiet dining room. The decor, staff, architecture, and everything else felt top notch. It seems like a wonderful place to relax for as long as you need. I’d give the location 4 stars because it’s quite off the beaten path. If you’re unfamiliar with Onsen, it’s better to have a native friend with you.

The rooms were amazing and the food was great. Being in a hot stone bath with the sun on your face was something special. I can see why some people call this the best onsen in Japan. Highly recommend.

Dinner and breakfast were both very good, and the Onsens in the new and old wings were nice. My room was nice too. The one thing I didn’t like was the smell along the corridor leading to it.

A great RYOKAN and SPA. The room comes with a private bathroom, and you can arrange a private spa by telling the staff when you make your reservation.

We had one of our greatest stays there. The hotel service was superb, and the food was so good.
