Secret Break Isumi

A peaceful, enchanting home that gave us a real break from the city's hectic pace. It's been carefully made, with a genuine, authentic feel, mixing Japanese design and Asian influences with touches inspired by India and Burma.

Really unusual and cozy place. Amazing, and I can't recommend it enough!

I'd been looking forward to staying here for ages. The architecture is wonderful, and everything in the house feels thoughtfully chosen and refined. As someone who loves tableware, I enjoyed making coffee and cooking with it all. The owners carefully told us about good places to eat nearby, but the space was so comfortable that we preferred to cook for ourselves morning and evening and take it slow. The owner also gave us a detailed tour of the garden and explained how they care for the natural surroundings. I learned a lot. This feels less like a place for sightseeing and more like somewhere people planning to build a home should stay. You can experience a refined way of living here.

We celebrated a birthday here, and the exotic atmosphere made it incredibly relaxing. The tableware was lovely, and we appreciated all the great restaurant suggestions. At night we could hear rain, then birdsong in the morning, which made us feel close to nature. I'd love to return someday. The projector and glass speakers were things I don't usually experience in everyday life, almost like being in a movie theater. The way the room was laid out was wonderful too. Everything was fantastic.
