Via PAR Hotel Itami

There’s a good range of things available, including karaoke in the room, manga, and laundry service. Even though our Japanese was limited, the staff were warm and helpful. I’d happily recommend the hotel.

The welcome beer or sparkling wine costs just 100 yen, and they even provide snacks. It was a lovely way to shake off the tiredness from work. Getting here is easy too: AEON Mall connects directly to Itami Station, and from AEON you can walk to the hotel in under three minutes. My single room had plenty of space, including for a large carry-on. The hotel is old, but the air conditioning, beds, and toilets have been renovated, so it was still comfortable to use. For a business hotel, they’ve put a lot of care into it. I’d recommend staying here in Itami.

I stay here pretty often, and the hotel would otherwise be nice, but the night front desk service is uncomfortable. The woman in her 60s is extremely unfriendly, and sometimes hands over the key almost like she’s throwing it. There’s also an older man who works the desk, and his customer service is completely different. I’d prefer to be served by him. This experience spoils the hotel for me.
