Country House Hotel Avonlea

I've wanted to come here for a long time, and the price for everything they offer is amazing, from the open-air bath and shuttle to afternoon tea. The garden was beautifully kept and felt like heaven. I was really moved by the warm service. Thanks for a wonderful stay. 😊

I found this place while searching a booking site for pet-friendly stays, and spent one night with dinner and breakfast. I was a little concerned because there weren't any other guests with pets, but everyone treated my pet so kindly, which was a big relief. The decor, from the furniture to the little accessories, made the place feel like being abroad, and I was very happy with it. The Western-style course dinner was delicious and worth the price. The service was excellent and made me very happy. I'd like to stay again when I visit Izu Kogen.

We came as two friends in June, looking for somewhere peaceful and comfortable to unwind, even though we had no particular reason to be in Izu Kogen. I found this place online, and it turned out to suit us perfectly since we mostly wanted a relaxing stay and did very little sightseeing. It doesn't have the slick feel of a city hotel, but the cute decor, big lounge, and spacious garden with a lovely atmosphere made it great for taking things slowly. Dinner was a delicious French course, especially the roast duck, which was outstanding. My friend tried the esthetic treatment after dinner and seemed to really enjoy it. Breakfast served afternoon-tea style was lavish and put us in a happy mood first thing in the morning.

My mother and I stayed here in winter, and the inn's fairy-tale look inside and out was so cute. The thoughtfully chosen accessories make every corner photogenic, so it's a great pick if you want a cute place to stay. Both meals were delicious, and the portions at dinner and breakfast were just right for my daughter and me, since we don't eat much. The private open-air bath was great, too. On a clear night you can see all the stars, which is amazing. The station pickup and drop-off were a big help, and we felt it was excellent value for money. I bet the garden plants would look even prettier in spring or summer.
