Country Inn Galley

Really cozy and clean, and the food was fantastic.

They picked us up from Futo Station on January 19th and welcomed us with a drink by the warm fireplace. The freshly baked rosemary cookies were delicious. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves while celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the hospitality was wonderful. The food was so fresh and tasty that I wondered whether we’d manage to finish it all, but we did and were completely satisfied. Our room was spacious and clean, and we had the private bath to ourselves. We stretched out and soaked three times. The owner was kind and lovely, and I’d definitely return. The next day they drove us to Mount Omuro, where we got a spectacular view of Mount Fuji. Thank you for such warm hospitality.

I stayed solo last year and was happy with everything, from the hospitality to the room and meals. I had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again.

On our second visit, we came with three generations of the family, and both the children and grandmothers were very happy. Having the private bath meant we could use it freely during our stay. The meals are always delicious and so generous that we feel bad we can’t finish everything. You can feel the owner’s thoughtfulness and the care put into keeping the place clean. It’s warm and welcoming, and the galley holds a big place in our family’s memories. I hope we can all return. This year I’d like to plant dill seeds in the garden.
