The staff were really friendly, and the spacious tatami room with futons was comfortable. We slept deeply and for longer than we'd planned. The onsen was nice, but it had already been drained when we arrived, so we could only use the showers. It's up on the hills near the shore, with a beautiful view. Getting there without a car isn't easy for tourists, though a small shuttle runs from the JR station.

A quiet, affordable overnight stay, if you don't mind being a little out of the way. Bring your own food, and you'll need a car to reach a convenience store. For anyone familiar with guesthouses, this really is a great place. The price is reasonable and they give two people a roomy tatami room. The air conditioning works well. There's a sink in each room, while the shower is shared. If someone else is using it, you can wait and use it afterward. It's spacious and the hot water is good. Checkout is at 11:00, so there's plenty of time to take it easy. I'm writing this review for Koreans.

This is really confusing. Izu Wan Club and Izu One Club may sound the same, but they're different places. Same same but different! Don't mix them up. It's a surprising "one" mistake, lol. Even the dog is furious. The place used to allow pets, apparently, but that ended after the change in ownership. The name changed from Izu Wan Club to Izu One Club. Under the previous owner the "100% natural hot spring" flowed freely, but it's now "tap water." People could easily show up based on the old information and enter by mistake. The hotel's interior is exactly like the former establishment, so it's easy to think dogs are still allowed. If so much changed, they should have changed the name too. There were cute cats, so maybe "Izu Nyan Club"... lol. The ownership changed to Chinese, which doesn't bother me in itself. What disappointed me was the lack of understanding of Japanese sensibilities, or omotemashi. I called to complain and was told, roughly, "It clearly says here that pets aren't allowed," as if the mistake were my fault, even though they acknowledged someone had come by mistake before. The notice is there, but in tiny, ugly lettering. The current Chinese owner, Izu One Club, benefits from the previous owner's SEO while disregarding the feelings of pet-loving customers and playing a trick on them. I wonder if this is about a difference in nationality or the level of people involved. Either way, I'm terribly upset by what feels dishonest. If they keep using such a misleading name and say there have been similar incidents or complaints, they should make some adjustment, such as offering pet-friendly rooms for an extra fee. I think it's fine if you're someone willing to put up with anything as long as it's cheap!

The views from the rooms, the owner and staff's service, and the baths in the private rooms were all wonderful. It seems management and the policies have changed over the past few years, and the name also appears to have shifted from Izu One Club to Izu ONE Club. Dogs aren't allowed now, despite older reviews saying otherwise. They don't provide meals either, and appear to offer accommodation only.

I don't think I'll stay here again. It's far from town, though having a car makes that manageable, and I don't think meals are provided. The management seems to have changed recently. The bathroom was empty and there wasn't any hot water, which was a hassle. The bedroom wasn't as clean as I'd expected. Once it got dark, the hallway felt really dark and scary, so I had to use my phone flashlight to find the bathroom.
